Scope: Create a small house that feels big, take advantage of mountain views and and create a unique street front that gives a nod to the neighborhood aesthetic.

Solution: Given the shape of the lot the house was required to have a long North/ South axis. This provided the opportunity to create an integrated sunset deck on the second level. Primary living functions take place on the second floor where views and natural light abound.

Architectural Thoughts: The long axis on the house allowed us to really get the proportions right. The sun deck spans the entire West side of the building connecting the kitchen, living and master bedroom to the deck and creating a true indoor-outdoor feel.
