Scope: Design a new restaurant in an existing space on Bozeman’s only festival street.
Solution: Using the bar as the central focus, we created a unifying object within the space that allows for a variety of dining experiences. A raised seating area with large overhead doors allows patrons to interact with festival street. Private booths for that date night privacy, banquette tables for large gatherings and the Godfather booths for when you want to feel important. All of this is bookended by an intimate music stage.
Architectural Thoughts: We love designing restaurants because we get to visit often and watch how people interact with the space. Bourbon is one of our favorite spaces because it is so lively. The acoustical design is something you notice because you can have a conversation even with live music.
