Scope: Maximize the number of multifamily units on a seven-acre lot surrounding Eagle Lake in Whitefish Montana.

Solution: The residences surround the south edge of Eagle Lake to provide each unit with a view of the water and Big Mountain providing a backdrop to the north. The design consists of eleven four-plex units and one multi-use unit. This approach maximizes the natural light opportunities within the units and reduces the scale of the buildings. The exterior materials consist of metal siding with accent s of natural wood.

Architectural Thoughts: With multifamily housing, it is always an interesting challenge to create interest and affordability in repetition. We love these kinds of challenges.
